BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors holds ultimate responsibility for Out Youth’s contribution to the community. Board Members are responsible in the following key areas:

  • Fiduciary – to provide oversight and make sure Out Youth operates responsibly, effectively, and legally

  • Generative – to determine what Out Youth stands for and what are its mission, vision, and values.

  • Strategic – to determine Out Youth’s broad strategic direction, which guides the day-to-day efforts of the board, staff, and volunteers.

  • Leadership – to set an example of commitment to Out Youth’s mission and values within the organization and as an ambassador to the larger community

The Board meets every other month on the second Monday, and its committees meet on alternate months.
