Texas Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Overview
To provide a value-added service to our Education Program offerings, Out Youth provides Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits to Texas-based educators in compliance with (TAC) §232.21 (b) & (c) and all other required provisions.
At the conclusion of each activity offered for CPE credit, the Out Youth will provide each educator in attendance written documentation listing, at a minimum, the following:
Out Youth’s name and provider number
Educator's name
Date and content of the activity
Number of clock hours that count toward satisfying CPE requirements
This information will be provided in electronic format.
Out Youth will maintain a record of CPE activities conducted that includes a list of attendees, the date and content of the activity, and the number of clock hours that count toward satisfying CPE requirements for seven years.
