911 and Mental Health Deputy

If an emergency is in progress or someone is in an active mental health crisis, including imminent threat of suicide, please call 911. Specifically for a mental health crisis, you can request a mental health deputy.  

Community Mental Health and Mobile Crisis Outreach Team

For support related to mental health in Central Texas, please consult the following:

In Travis County, the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, or MCOT, responds immediately on-site where a psychiatric crisis is occurring. MCOT is composed of medical and mental health professionals and can be reached at 512-472-4357.
